Privacy Policy

Puff · last updated: September 11, 2026

Overview

Puff is a single-player game that plays fully offline. It does not collect, store or share any personal information. There is no Puff account and no server of ours behind the app. The only thing that can leave your device is your score, sent to Apple Game Center if you are signed in to it.

Data we do not collect

Data stored on your device

Your settings (environment, blast modifier, colour palette, render quality, sound and haptics) and your best score per environment are written to standard platform storage — NSUserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android. This data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Network access

Puff makes no requests to any server of ours and is fully playable in airplane mode. On iPhone and iPad, if you are signed in to Game Center, the score of each finished run is sent to Game Center so it can appear on the leaderboard for that environment.

Third-party services

Apple Game Center, on iPhone and iPad only. You sign in to it in the Settings app, not in Puff, and Apple handles your Game Center profile and scores under the Apple Privacy Policy. Puff sends it nothing but your scores and receives no personal information from it. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent.

Apart from that, Puff integrates no analytics, advertising, attribution or tracking SDKs, and no third-party fonts or assets are downloaded at runtime.

Tracking

Puff does not track you across apps or websites, so it never presents the App Tracking Transparency prompt and requests no tracking permission.

Children

Puff is suitable for all ages and knowingly collects no information from anyone, children included — because it collects nothing at all.

Changes to this policy
